Environmental standards

In addition to our own programs, we follow environmental protection standards set by various government bodies. These include:

• Health Canada Contaminated Site Guidelines
• Canadian Standards Association Environmental Auditing and Environmental Site Assessment (Phase I and II ESAs) Guidelines
• Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment Environmental Quality Guidelines

There are also several acts and regulations that we use for reference purposes.  Note that provincial legislation does not apply to the Port, which is federally regulated.
