Reducing ship emissions

We work hard to reduce emissions at our Port. We were the first port in North America to implement the EcoAction Program (formally known as Differentiated Harbour Dues Program.) 

Begun in 2007, the program recognizes and encourages ocean going vessels to use cleaner burning fuels and technologies when calling on our port.
