Guidelines
Port Metro Vancouver recognizes that interested parties may want to use Port property for filming, parking, special events, and other general uses on a short-term basis. All interested parties must submit an application form. We will endeavor to accommodate your request as long as it does not interfere with port operations, such as shipping, navigation and transportation, or other Port interests.
Port property falls into two categories:
- Vacant Land
- Cruise Ship Terminals
If you are interested in using Port property that is presently occupied, please contact Port Metro Vancouver's Real Estate department for assistance. Your use of the occupied property is subject to you reaching an agreement with the existing occupant. In turn, it is the existing occupant’s responsibility to obtain the Port’s consent to your use of the property.
The Short Term Use Guideline and application form below have been developed to assist applicants with requests of this nature. The Guideline sets out the requirements for each event type and describes the licencing procedures, charges and information required to process an application form.
Please review the required documents below prior to completing the application form. For more information, please contact Port Metro Vancouver's Real Estate department.
