Port Metro Vancouver participates in community events throughout its 16 bordering municipalities. Our Community Relations Team and mascot Salty attend more than 75 events every year! We attend events all year long though are most active in the summer months.
At community events, Port Metro Vancouver's Community Relations Team is equipped with an interactive tent and full education outreach program including cargo samples, environmental posters and information about the Port's business sectors.
We also have cool games and prizes! Salty attends many local events to hand out stickers, tattoos and high fives. A Community Relations Team member accompanies him to answer questions about the Port. Next time you see the Team, make sure to say hello!
